With the warm weather approaching and
saying goodbye to another Cleveland winter, we are excited
to share with all of you our Studio MZ news!
New Faces
We have welcomed two new stylists to
our team, Andrea Baxter who joined us in March and Deena
Nicely who joined us in April. Also, Janet O’Neil who
is part of our Esthetics team welcomed her baby girl Bridget
on May 9th. Congratulations to Janet and her husband Mike.
We are happy to announce mother and baby are both doing
well!
On March 21st John Simpson, a
nationally acclaimed educator with Goldwell spent the day at
Studio MZ. He shared new color techniques during this Master
Class which revealed wearable and versatile soft tones that
flatter all ages! You can view photos of the class and join
our page on Face Book (and Twitter too!)
New Services at MZ!
Kim O, Dylan, and Missy are excited to
offer the Brazilian Blowout. This new Keratin treatment
conditions and smoothes fly away hair,

improving the integrity of your hair
while providing styling options, reduced blow dry time, and
there is no down time so you can shampoo the next day! Price
starts at $200. Dylan is running a teen special for a
partial highlight and haircut for $60!
Vera is now offering the OPI Axxium gel
nails! This service is designed for the client that enjoys
the durability of acrylic nails but the look of natural
nails. OPI Axxium gel nails last up to two weeks and are
great for a busy lifestyle. Pricing starts at $45 and the
appointment takes about an hour so be sure to call for
availability.
For those of you in need of
relaxation, Bob is bringing some very exciting services to
MZ! He is a core member of the medical staff that services
the Dew tour! He travels with the winter and summer events
to offer rehabilitative sports massage to the athletes
during these extreme sports competitions. He is now
certified in Kinesio ® taping. This is the definitive
rehabilitative taping method within the international
medical community. Kinesio ® provides support and stability
to your joints and muscles without limiting circulation or
range of motion. It can also be used for preventative
maintenance, edema, and pain management. Bob also has
advanced training in LaStone ® Therapy. He was fortunate to
study with the founder of LaStone ® to learn advanced
principles of geo-thermal-energy. In addition, he has
studied with a Native American Indian Shaman to learn a
deeper spiritual aspect of working with the stone tribe,
respecting the ancient ceremony that has been handed down
from their ancestors. Bob is excited to offer the

Rain Bath Ceremony as well. This unique
form of aroma therapy rebalances the physical through
affecting the nervous system with plant oils, aromas, and
healing stones. It is a neurological treatment that assists
the body with detoxification. Bob is available every
Thursday and first Saturday of the month however if you need
